I am writing to say thank you again for working with me and helping me prepare for our trip to Sicily. The trip was a huge success. Our entire trip was filled with this same kind of warm thoughtful consideration as we found the Sicilians and all Italians to be helpful and go out of their way to make us feel welcome.
There were also no issues with our rental car. Driving was no more difficult than anywhere on the streets in an east coast city.

| KNOCKOUT OF THE TRIP-- LA MINERVETTA!! It was like walking into the pages of Architectural Digest or Elle Decor. The views, the staff, the hosts and their new baby were just splendid. Not a hotel with concierge services, so people who need to be pampered all the time might be disappointed. But Eugenia made reservations and recommendations, let me check e-mail on her personal computer and offered travel suggestions. We would love to spend our weekends there. Car pickup in Palermo. We did an early reconnasaince trip to the main train station to find EuroCar. Not there. We were told it was far away, a suburban station, I think. So we called and asked them to deliver to the hotel. Charged to our credit card. No problem. For Taormina, a friend had suggested the Grand Timeo. You booked us into Diodoro. We visited GTimeao after a day in Taormina. While it may be situated in front of the amphitheatre and have a lovely view, we found the Diodoro cleaner, less pompous and quite delicious (the dining room).We'll definitely call on you next time we have to fill in blanks on an Italian itinerary that I cannot complete.

Hotels were perfect. My wife and daughter l and I oved everything. Hotel Monna Lisa is VERY special.
We got bumped from Mascagni for 1 night and they sent us to Empire which was beautiful. All the connections were made. Even the water taxi got there. I did expect a private jet though!

Dear Beth,
I arrived home on Sunday evening, as scheduled, with the Alitalia flight from Rome being uneventful...just the way I like it! I have to tell you that this vacation was awesome. Aside from the opportunity to see and do amazing things in Italy, your planning allowed for just the right amount of time in each location. Every new venue provided unique surprises as well. Being in Venice for Carnivale was a wonderful surprise; arriving in Florence, on a narrow, graffiti decorated street that looked kind of seedy, only to walk into a hotel that felt like a Tuscan Villa was a treat; the great hospitality at the Maison Minervetta along with the incredible view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius was striking; and then, of course, Roma!
The next time I plan a vacation, I'll be in touch with you!

Just heard from the Hauser couple. They had a great time and LOVED the Relais Santa Chiara. They are so happy they stayed there. Their room was beautiful and location great. Thanks for your imput with this. It's nice to hear good remarks. Thought you would like to know.

You did a great job helping us plan our trip! Bob and I truly appreciate all the work you put into the arrangements and selection of the hotels and tours.
The hotels you selected couldn’t have been more perfect for us! We fell in love with the Monna Lisa! After one day, it felt like home. They couldn’t have done more for us. There were charming restaurants within easy walking distance. Very good breakfast buffet. Great staff, location, charm, loved it! Will recommend!
The Mascagni was near the Piazza Republica and the cafes there became like our front porch while we were on our way to or from sightseeing.
The train station was within walking distance so we could take some buses or the Hop On/Off Tour. We went out in the morning and then returned to rest in the afternoon and then went back out later in the day! How convenient!
The staff was very attentive and professional. They reconfirmed our tours and transfers and always had a warm greeting when we returned to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good. Everything was clean and worked well.
Once again, thank you for all your help planning our trip. I know my clients will be in good hands with your hotel recommendations.

I wanted to let you know that our trip was wonderful too. Thank you & thank Tom from Hello Italy- the hotels were great! Here are my reviews about the hotels so you can pass them onto him.
We LOVED the Montecarlo in Venice. that was so beautiful. The rooms were adorable, and breakfast there was great too- eggs, bacon, sausages, breads, etc. That was really nice. And the location was perfect. We were in the heart of St. Mark's Square.
The Balestri in Florence was really nice. The service was fabulous, and the rooms were ok. We didn't love this hotel as much as the one in Venice. It was really nice though, and we had Arno river views for both rooms. The Visconti Palace in Rome was our favorite! That was SOOO nice & chic, and the service was outstanding. The rooms were REALLY nice, and service was wonderful. So was the breakfast. The location was really close to the Vatican. The train reservations worked out perfect too. No problems or issues there. And taxis were readily available for us in all the cities all the time.
The wedding in the villa was AMAZING. The place we stayed in was a dream. It was really a wonderful time there, and the wedding was a fantasy wedding.She came up on a horse & carriage, and there were sunflower fields everywhere. It was heaven.

I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank you for everything you did for Cathy and me. We just experienced the vacation and trip of a lifetime! Rome was amazing, incredible, unbelievable....like no other place in the world. And the Amalfi Coast was extraordinarily beautiful, as were the Italian people and the harmonious language.
Your personal touch and caring, along with the accomodations, special interest, recommendations, and upgrades have provided Cathy and me special memories that will last a lifetime. I am only sad that the children didn't experience it with us also... Next time, I hope.
