This route will show you three of the most popular wine area of italy, starting from Piedmont in the Langhe, passing through Liguria Cinque Terre to Tuscany in the Chianti area. Day 1 Arrival. Hotel accommodation in Calamandrana (AT). Overnight stay. Day 2 Breakfast. Full day in Langhe area. Following the S.S. 231 you will reach Alba, the most famous village of this area. Following the road south direction you will arrive in Grinzane Cavour. Wine tasting in "La Cantina del Conte". Beginning the hills (Le Langhe). We suggest to visit La Morra, a medieval village with a beautiful view, then Barolo famous for its red wine. Dinner in typical restaurant and overnight stay in Hotel. Day 3 Breakfast. Visit Asti and Langa Astigiana, medieval centre. We suggest to visit Collegiata of San Secondo, Battistero of San Pietro and Palazzo Alfieri. In the afternoon you will stop in Isola d'Asti, Nizza Monferrato, Canelli, Castiglione Tinella, Castagnole Lanze, Castiglione d'Asti. Wine tasting in Moscato d'Asti area. Overnight in Hotel. Day 4 After breakfast departure to Liguria. Before to arrive we suggest you to make a stop in Tigullio Gulf and visit Santa Margherita Ligure, boat to Portofino. Arrival in Hotel Paese Corvara. Overnight stay. Day 5 Departure by train to Cinque Terre (Km 184). Full day in Cinque Terre. You can pass trought a famous "Via dell'Amore" 40 min, and arrive in Manarola, visit and you can take a local train to Vernazza and Monterosso. Wine tasting of white wine D.O.C. of Cique Terre. Dinner in Typical restaurant, and overnight stay in hotel. Day 6 Breakfast. Departure to Siena crossing Chianti area (Km 206). Highway Firenze Livorno, near San Miniato you'll find Val d'Elsa, Castelfiorentino, Certaldo and San Gimignano, Monteriggioni. Arrival in Siena, hotel accommodation. Visit Palazzo Pubblico, Duomo, we suggest to pass through typical streets, "Vie Banchi di Sopra e Banchi di Sotto". Overnight stay. Day 7 Breakfast. Departure to Firenze (Km 68). You will start a new itinerary from Rada in Chianti to Castellina in Chianti and then Greve Impruneta. This area offers you very different landscapes. This route between Siena and Firenze belongs to Chianti area famous for its red wine. Wine tasting in Greve in Chianti. You can visit Firenze (Duomo, Battistero, Palazzo della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio). Return to Siena. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel. Day 8 Breakfast. End of service.
