Elisabetta and her husband, Marco are both passionate about cooking and culture and they enjoy preparing traditional foods. Marco, who is an excellent cook, currently works in the wine and olive oil industry. They organize Italian cooking classes with an emphasis on traditional Tuscan cooking.
Elisabetta and Marco have interest in good, healthy food. The tastes, colors and aromas of the dishes they prepare in their classes allow them to bring pleasure to others as they share this information.
Their Italian cooking classes are characterized by a reverence for fresh ingredients, simple preparation and a harmonious combination of ingredients that bring out the flavors of foods. They very carefully choose organically certified products from a variety of farms near Siena. The simplicity, lightness, and flexibility of many of the dishes they prepare fit into the hurried and health consciousness of today’s lifestyle. It is the Italian answer to fast food, but prepared in a more appetizing, elegant and healthful way.
In each class a complete menu is prepared: rice or hand-made pasta, a second course (meat, fish or vegetable), vegetable (of the season), dessert, wine (DOCG). All the products we use are organic (meat, vegetables, flour, cheese, etc). The students are involved in the "Italian table" atmosphere. they learn how to choose the wine and the importance of selecting the right olive oil.
