Rome is a bustling city with fabulous shops and boutiques but, amidst the hurry of everyday modern life, beautifully preserved buildings and monuments stand out on unexpected corners, a constant reminder of its glorious and sometimes turbulent past.

The day has been carefully planned to include all the most important and best know places and monuments: Villa Borghese, Caracalla baths, Imperial Palaces, Circus Maximum, the river Tiber, the Palace of Justice, St. Angels’ Castle, the Colosseum and Forum revealing the splendour of the Roman Empire.
While admiring all this unforgettable sigthseeing, you will reach the Vatican State, richer in masterpieces than any other place in the world, where you enjoy some free time admiring its works of art: St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican Palaces from where the Pope blesses the believers on Sunday morning.
Entrance fees are not included. Legs and arms must be covered when visiting the churches. Time permitting you may be offered a visit to the Catacombs.
