The Bridge Hotel has been run for over four generations by the Rossi family, which with passion and dedication takes care of the guests, welcoming them to a unique atmosphere, friendly and at the same time elegant. The ancient palace in which this pleasant Venice hotel is situated dates back to 1400 and was completely restored in 1996 to guarantee the guests maximum comfort and services. The environment features the abundant use of fine materials like wood, often lacquered in white, marble and glass. This latter element, in its more artistic form, is present more or less everywhere: all the ceiling and wall lamps, in fact, are in Murano glass, some of the doors are in hand-painted glass, and in the hall there is a precious collection of glasses, plates, vases and other artistic objects made in Murano in the typical glassworks. To discover all the secrets of this extremely ancient art, the Bridge Hotel offers its guests a trip to the island of Murano to visit a genuine glassworks, offering free of charge (only one way) a private water taxi to reach the island directly from the hotel. Among the services offered to the guests, the hotel is also at their completely disposition for the purchase of tickets for exhibitions or other cultural events and to reserve a table for dinner in restaurants and typical eating houses. Rooms:Furnished with care, giving particular attention to details, our rooms are unique environments, each of which features distinctive elements, such as the dominant color in each room, ranging from blue to green and from Bordeaux to yellow, in all possible shades. The furniture is inspired by the "Venetian", style, with light colored lacquered furniture, decorated according to a fashion that was very popular in Venice in around 1700. The rooms are enriched by the splendid original ceiling beams, perfectly restored, parquet or carpeting on the floors, ceiling and wall lamps in Murano glass and walls covered with fine fabrics in colors matching the rest of the room. The rooms on the top floor offer beautiful views over the Venice rooftops, while the rooms on the other floors overlook the characteristic Calle della Sacrestia and Calle della Corona. All the rooms, single, double, three or four-bedded, are equipped with every comfort such as telephone, satellite TV, minibar, heating and air conditioning.
