A splendid 4 star hotel, literally an 8-minute stroll from the town’s main piazza, the Hotel Miramalfi provides guests with comfort, tranquillity and impeccable customer service. The hotel boasts exceptional views over the Amalfi Coast and the Tyrrhenian Sea, a swimming pool, excellent restaurant and a private beach. The Miramalfi complex was opened in the spring of 1956 by the head of the Mansi family, Signor Francesco Mansi. Signor Francesco had returned to his hometown after a long stay in Mexico and was determined to fulfil his lifelong dream of living beside the sea and being able to view his hometown from a unique location. On completion of the hotel and seeing the stunning Amalfi coastline Signor Francesco cried out “Mira, Amalfi!” (Spanish literally: “Look, Amalfi!”). Hence the name Miramalfi. For information on how to arrive at this fantastic hotel visit our location page. Still in family hands, the Hotel Miramalfi is managed by Signora Emma Mansi and her children Raffaella and Francesco. Working to create the unique family atmosphere which can be found at the Hotel Miramalfi, guests are assured a warm welcome and the utmost in attentive and professional service. In each room guests can enjoy a balcony or spacious terrace, offering the opportunity to relax with superb views out onto the Tyrrhenian Sea and over the world renowned Amalfi Coast. Rooms are beautifully furnished and designed offering all the standard modern conveniences expected: air-conditioning, heating, mini bar, direct telephone line, Satellite TV with BBC and CNN, secure safe, plenty of room for storage and comfortable rattan chairs. Traditional Italian ceramic tiling has been used in the room with Vietri green and turquoise tiles complementing the sea view. Restaurant The Hotel Miramalfi restaurant is one of the many prominent facilities to be appreciated in the hotel complex. Providing magnificent views across the Amalfi Coast, Il Ristorante has been constructed with large glass walls maximising the glorious panorama; onlookers can absorb the calming crystal-clear blue water, the beautiful town of Amalfi, the winding ribbon roads along the cliffs and the boats bobbing on the tide. Start the day enjoying a European buffet style breakfast or even a more traditional British style breakfast consisting of (Italian) bacon, sausage and eggs. Being so close to the sea naturally means that the locals and guests can enjoy the freshest fish and at Il Ristorante the finest seafood dishes are served. The Campania region produces good wines including the popular Falanghina and various others under the Greco di Tufo name - ask our courteous restaurant staff for advice regarding choice of wine or availability. Be sure to try the region’s speciality - Limoncello, a luminous yellow, sweet, lemon liqueur with a kick – perfect for aiding digestion after a large meal. The liqueur is produced from sun-drenched lemons grown along the Amalfi Coast. As well as traditional Italian dishes guests will find contemporary dishes blended with modern aromas and in different styles. During dinner guests are politely asked to comply with the Hotel Miramalfi dress code of long trousers. During the high season live music and entertainment is also organized.
