The Hotel Villa Sant'Andrea is ideally located on the bay of Mazzarò, in the immediate proximity of Taormina.
It was built in 1830 by an aristocratic British family, and was transformed into a hotel in 1950. Since then it has been recognized as one of Taormina's most exclusive hotels, and it still preserves the fascination of a private residence.
Within walking distance there is a cable car that can take guests up to explore the ancient village of Taormina with its renowned Greek roman theatre.
Precious paintings and antiques embellish the interior and make it unique in its style.
The rooms are silent and the atmosphere is very relaxing; some of them offer a good view of the "Baia di Mazzarò".
Every room is comfortable and well lit and distinguishes itself from the others in decoration and furniture.
There are different kinds of rooms: Classic Rooms, with double bed or twin beds and without sea view, Superior with sea view, and Deluxe, with double bed or twin beds have balcony or terrace with sea view, Junior Suites, with double bed, separate sofa area, balcony or terrace with sea view, Suites, with king size bed, separate living area, balcony or terrace with sea view.
The Hotel has a beautiful private sandy beach, close to the hotel; it is surrounded with palms and bananas. It is equipped with bathing - huts, sunshades, showers and bath - sheets.
In summertime there is an outdoor bar on the beach.
Areas of the hotel are dedicated to host banquets and business lunches.
Relaxation treatments, thalassic therapy and massages can be enjoyed at the hotel's Mosaico health & fitness Centre.
In summertime it is possible water skiing, wind-surfing, sailing, underwater fishing, to hire sailing-boats or motor-boats and pedalo', aqua vision or to take part in underwater fishing lessons.
The Hotel is equipped with two restaurants: the restaurant "Sant'Andrea", which proposes local specialities, and the restaurant "Oliviero", with exquisite menus à la carte for romantic dinners by candle-light.
There are both indoor and outdoor bars; one of the bars is situated on the large terrace, where the piano provides an atmospheric musical accompaniment to an after dinner or an aperitif.
