Day 1 – Rome – Sorrento
Meet the driver at the airport for your private transfer to the Rome Rail Station.
High speed train in 1st class from Rome to Naples. Travel time 1 hr 10 minutes
Transfer from Naples Rail station to your hotel in Sorrento. Check into your hotel. Rest of day at leisure

Day 2 – Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi – Ravello – Sorrento
In the morning, arrive at the meeting point to meet coach. Enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramic coastal drives in Italy with its own cities rich of charm, history and traditions. Discover the small Positano, the vertical town, the ancient Amalfi with its Dome, Ravello the breathtaking balcony on the Amalfi Coast. Return to Sorrento

Day 3 – Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento
In the morning, arrive at the meeting point. Sail across the bay of Naples for the start of an unforgettable day to Capri. This wonderful island has a remarkable natural landscape and has been popular with the rich and famous for years. Its distinctive maze-like streets and alleys are lined with exciting designer boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants. The tour begins with a visit to Anacapri where you can have a wander around the lovely town. See the beautiful Villa San Michele and, weather permitting, take the single chairlift to the highest point of the island.
Continue to the center of Capri where the famous little square, otherwise known as ‘the drawing room of the world’ is located. You will also view the Faraglioni Rocks from the Augustus’ gardens followed by a walk along the artisan and designer shops. Return journey to the island and funicular to Capri Town are included. Return to Sorrento with hydrofoil or jet

Day 4 – Sorrento – Florence
Morning transfer to Naples. High speed train in 1st class from Naples to Florence. Travel time 2 hours 50 minutes. Transfer from Florence Rail station to your hotel. Check into your hotel. In the afternoon, arrive at meeting point for city tour followed by visit to Uffizi Gallery.
The first part of the tour is devoted to the heart of Florence, its historic center and its wonderful squares and landmarks: we start with an enlightening walking tour led by a local guide who will unveil every corner of the cradle of the Renaissance. Starting from Piazza San Firenze, where one of the finest example of Florentine residential architecture of the fifteenth century stands, you will then reach the stunning Basilica di Santa Croce standing in the namesake historic square. This Franciscan church is actually one of the best achievements of Italian Gothic style, and is also known as the Temple of Italian Glories, as it’s the final resting place of such Italian artists as Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei and Niccolò Machiavelli.
Walking along Lungarno Torrigiani, your eyes will be feasted with the magnificent view of Ponte Vecchio, one of the symbols of Florence: learn about its incredible history and how it has been spared from the bombings during World War II. Follow your professional guide to Piazza della Signoria, the unique heart of the city’s social life, to admire the imposing architecture of Palazzo Vecchio and the famous statues of Loggia de’ Lanzi, among which the magnificent Perseus by Cellini stands. The tour finishes inside the world famous Uffizi Gallery, where you can stand and admire the unique Renaissance masterpieces of the great Italian artists, where you will be involved in an exciting celebration of beauty, admiring such works of art as Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, Leonardo’s Annunciation and Michelangelo’s Tondo Doni, to name a few. At the end of the guided tour you can remain in the Uffizi Gallery until closing time

Day 5 – Florence – Siena – San Gimignano – Monteriggioni – Chianti
In the morning, arrive at the meeting point to meet coach. Crossing the beautiful Chianti hills we arrive at the Medieval hilltop gem of Monteriggioni, with its still intact walls. Here you can drink in the history and relive the atmosphere of olden times.
Our day continues to the stately Siena, famous for its splendid examples of Gothic architecture and the Palio horse race. Follow our guide to the suggestive Piazza del Campo, where the magnificent Palazzo Pubblico stands with its Torre del Mangia. Visit Piazza del Duomo and be impressed by the imposing, stunning Cathedral, one of the finest achievements of Italian Gothic.
Before leaving Siena you will be served a light lunch in a cozy restaurant where, together with genuine Tuscan products, you will savor locally produced traditional pastries: Ricciarelli, Panforte and Cantuccini.
The next stop is San Gimignano famous for its white wine, the world renowned Vernaccia, and its skyscrapers, also declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO! The visit is free for independent sightseeing, strolling around the narrow streets and admiring the relaxing landscape. After, we move into the Chianti area, with its picture-postcard landscapes. You have the chance to taste the best Chianti red wine in a rustic wine estate along with home-made snacks and sampling of wines and oil.

Day 6 – Florence – Rome
Morning transfer to Florence Rail Station. High speed train in 1st class from Florence to Rome. Travel time 1 hours 30 minutes. Transfer from Rome Rail station to your hotel. Check into your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 7 – Rome
Pick up from your hotel for visit of ancient Rome. Also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Colosseum is one of the most famous monuments in the world; it was used for gladiatorial fights (munera), wild animal hunts (venationes) and, with the arena filled with water, simulated sea battles (naumachiae). The Palatine Hill, where the city of Rome was founded and the place that became the most exclusive neighborhood where emperors and patrician families built opulent palaces. The Roman Forum was for centuries the center of Roman public and economic life, where the most important structures of the ancient city were located.

Day 8 – Rome
Pick up from your hotel for visit of the Vatican. Following our knowledgeable and passionate guide, the tour begins at the Vatican Museums with its immense collection built up by the Popes throughout the centuries. The itinerary includes the Pio Clementino Hall, the Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere, the Maps Gallery, the Candelabra Gallery, the Tapestries Gallery and the Sistine Chapel to admire the breathtaking frescos by Michelangelo, one of the most celebrated masterpieces in the world. From the Museum you will exit directly into St Peter’s Basilica, the most important Christian Church in the world, heart of the Catholic religion, where you will admire, among others, Michelangelo’s masterpiece La Pietà and the impressive Baldachin Altar by Bernini. Tour ends in the suggestive St Peter’s Square, dominated by Michelangelo’s imposing Cupola and surrounded by the famous Bernini’s double Colonnade.
